Energy Harvesting
VECTARE has developed an energy harvesting architecture for Wireless Sensor Networks that is based on a
family of energy-harvesting “heads” that provide power to a common charging circuit. The common charging
circuit accepts various energy-harvesting inputs (either AC or DC), and converts it to usable energy
for operation and storage. This architecture is ideal for frequent and varied pulsing applications
resulting from harvesting energy from vibration, solar power or air flow sources.
